For the Culture: Community in a Time of Pandemic is a publication that was edited by Ynotibox, SpecialSays, and myself to address the question that does community mean to you during the pandemic?

The invitation to contribute was sent widely to members of Good Music Twitch all over the world.

All proceeds from purchases of FTC will be sent to Chapter 510, a youth writing, bookmaking, and publishing center.

As an esteemed member of Good Music Twitch, we wanted to invite you all to participate in For the Culture: Community in a Time of Pandemic a publication that Ynotibox, SpecialSays, and I are editing. This book seeks to capture the thoughts and experiences of GMT as they relate to the theme of community.

Earlier this year, we sent out a call for submissions in Twitch streams and have a handful of submissions from members the community, namely people in your chat. We wanted to make sure that your voices are heard as well, and we invite you to contribute.

We know you are busy, and hope you’ll have time to contribute at a few sentences to answer this prompt:

"What has Twitch meant to you during COVID?”

Include a headshot (a screengrab of you streaming would be great!)

We hope to capture the thoughts and meanings behind this new community and to create a permanent recollection of this ever-evolving space. This project seeks to learn how we evolved to meet the challenges of thriving in a time of pandemic.

In return for your contribution, we will send you a .pdf of the completed project. All proceeds from the project will go to a non-profit to be named later.
